Refund Policy.
Information about refunds, cancellations and payments for digital services.
1. Scope
This policy describes how Decenex handles refund and cancellation requests relating to services such as mobile development, web development and AI integration. The terms of any signed proposal, statement of work or service agreement also apply. Where applicable law provides rights that cannot be excluded, those rights take precedence.
2. Project fees and milestones
Project fees, deposits, payment milestones and deliverables should be agreed in writing before work starts. Prices displayed on our website are indicative and are not a binding quote. Any refund assessment will take account of the agreed scope, work already performed, expenses incurred and applicable legal rights.
3. Cancellation before work begins
If you wish to cancel before work begins, email us as soon as possible. We will review any amounts paid and any costs already reasonably committed to the project. Any refund will be assessed under the agreed contract and applicable law; a full refund is not automatically guaranteed.
4. Cancellation after work begins
If work has started, please send a written cancellation request. We will explain the work completed, any non-recoverable costs, outstanding charges and whether any payment is refundable under the contract and applicable law. Where relevant, we will discuss the handover of completed, paid-for deliverables.
5. Problems with delivered services
If you believe a deliverable does not meet the agreed specification, contact us with a description of the issue. We will review the concern and, where appropriate under the contract and applicable law, discuss correction, re-performance, a price reduction or a refund.
6. Consumer rights
Some customers may have statutory rights under UK consumer law, including rights relating to services and digital content. Any applicable cancellation or refund rights depend on the circumstances, including whether the customer is acting as a consumer or business, and cannot be removed by this policy.
7. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] with your name, project or invoice reference, the amount paid, and the reason for your request. We will review the request and respond with the next steps. Do not send payment-card details by email.
8. Approved refunds
Where a refund is approved, we will confirm the amount and proposed payment method in writing. Processing times depend on the payment provider and circumstances. Any mandatory statutory timelines will be respected.
9. Contact and changes
For refund or cancellation questions, contact [email protected]. We may update this policy from time to time; changes will not remove rights already accrued under an existing agreement or applicable law.
